Dr Dave Bowden

Member of the South African Urological Association and European Association of Urology
Dr Bowden is trained as a General Urologist with a broad skill set but has a special interest in Uro-oncology and Reconstructive Urology.
He obtained his medical degree (MBBCh) from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1987. After a year as an anatomy lecturer at Natal University he spent 5 years in an Anglo American mine hospital as a medical officer in surgery (and urology).
Dr Anesh Naidoo

Dr Anesh Naidoo completed his undergraduate training at the University of Natal in 1994 and then served his internship at Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town. His fields of interest includes laparoscopic surgery for the kidney and prostate, laparoscopic pelvic organ prolapse surgery, donor nephrectomy and renal transplantation.

Trained in Anatomical Pathology, Surgery and Urology at Karl Bremer and Groote Schuur Hospitals, registered as Urologist: 1973.

Established renal transplantation at Tygerberg Hospital.
Prof. John Lazarus

Prof John Lazarus completed his urological training at the University of Cape Town.
Following qualification he was senior lecturer in stone disease / endourology at Groote Schuur Hospital and Paediatric Urology at Red Cross Children’s Hospital. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2012 and was appointed Head: Division of Urology in 2013. He recently completed a mini-fellowship in uro-oncology at St George’s University Hospital, London.
